Killington kicks off its 2015 summer season on with a host of new attractions at the Snowshed Adventure Center, ranging from Segway tours to a four-story ropes course, complemented by tried-and-true summer alpine activities like hiking, mountain biking and disc golf.

The Peak Lodge will be open daily this summer on Killington Peak with fresh local fare and the K-1 Express Gondola, Vermont’s highest lift, will serve hikers, bikers and offer scenic rides. New for summer 2015, the Snowshed Express Quad will also spin daily, after the positive response to weekend service last summer.

Additional attractions at the Snowshed Adventure Center include a 5,000 square foot maze, a 1,200’ Skyeride soaring 200’ above Snowshed Pond, ATV/UTV rentals, Roaring Brook Mining where kids pan for gold and other gems. New amenities in the Snowshed Lodge include a multi-station food court, expanded mountain bike and retail shop and BOGS hiking center. Kayak and stand up paddleboard (SUP) rentals will also be available this summer.

The Beast Mountain Coaster, Killington’s new flagship thrill ride is under construction and is expected to open to the public by the end of July. All other attractions will be operational during opening weekend.
